Upaya Penurunan Kehilangan Air Menggunakan Metode Water Balance (Teknik Step Test - Sounding) Dan Analisis Finansial (Studi Kasus: Graha Indah, Pdam Tirta Manggar Kota Balikpapan)

The most common problems that occur in the distribution of drinking water are mainly caused by the high rate of water loss or Non-Revenue Water (NRW). According to the results of research in both DMA Graha Indah namely DMA Graha Indah 1 and DMA Graha Indah 2 have a fairly high rate of water loss that is for DMA Graha Indah 1 46.94% (78% physical loss; 22% non-physical loss) which is equivalent to 163,012 m3/ year and DMA Graha Indah 2 is 59.2% (87% physical loss; 13% non-physical loss) or 211,017 m3/ year. This research outlines using the Method Water Balance (WB) which includes techniques…

A Strategy for Management of Sustainable Water Supply System in Rural Areas

The sustainability of rural drinking water supply systems (SPAM) is an important development issue in Indonesia related to the low access to clean and healthy water in rural areas. This condition is the background for researchers in conducting studies to find out what factors affect the sustainability of the use of SPAM facilities and…

Students as part of the younger generation have the responsibility as educators, planners, and policymakers on environmental issues for a sustainable future so that research on university students’ pro-environmental behaviour is needed. This study adopted a developed causal model of pro-environmental behaviour based on Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) in a sample of 363 Indonesian university students. This theory is expected to identify barriers and impulses in…

Manajemen Risiko pada Rencana Pengamanan Air Minum (RPAM) Operator untuk Sumber Air Permukaan PDAM Krueng Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen

Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Krueng Peusangan uses water from Krueng Peusangan as its source of raw water. Krueng Peusangan water quality monitoring was carried out by BAPEDAL Aceh in 2016 and the first period was classified into "good condition" and in the second period classified into "lightly polluted". This incident indicates that the quality of Krueng Peusangan water is very fluctuating and can change at any time. This is a challenge for PDAM Krueng Peusangan in achieving the quality of water that can meet the quality standards based on Permenkes No.492 of 2010 tentang Persyaratan…
