Persepsi Keselamatan Berkendara Pengguna Sepeda Motor di Kota Banda Aceh terhadap Pelanggaran Lalu Lintas dan Kelengkapan Atribut

Abstract

Abstrak Kecelakaan sepeda motor merupakan salah satu penyebab kecelakaan yang tertinggi di Indonesia. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pemahaman mengenai keselamatan berkendara oleh pengguna sepeda motor, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya pelanggaran lalu lintas yang berakibat pada kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pengendara sepeda motor terhadap keselamatan berkendara ditinjau dari pelanggaran lalu lintas dan kelengkapan atribut keselamatan lalu lintas. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dengan jumlah data yang digunakan sebanyak 200 sampel. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan kepada pengendara sepeda motor, sebagai responden, yang berada di Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa faktor keselamatan berkendara sangat signifikan dipengaruhi oleh faktor penentu pelanggaran lalu lintas dan kelengkapan atribut keselamatan. Hal ini berarti jika responden taat dalam mengikuti peraturan lalu lintas, akan berpengaruh terhadap faktor keselamatan berkendara, seperti selalu hati-hati dan fokus dalam berkendara, memperhatikan kaca spion, dan peduli dengan pengguna jalan lain. Walaupun pemahaman dan kesadaran pengendara sepeda motor cukup baik, tetap direkomendasikan agar pengendara sepeda motor perlu lebih berhati-hati dalam berkendara supaya menghindari terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas. 2. Metode Penelitian

2.1 Lokasi penelitian dan data

Lokasi penelitian adalah di Kota Banda Aceh, yang merupakan ibukota dari Provinsi Aceh (Gambar 1). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner dibagikan kepada 200 responden, dimana responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pengendara sepeda motor. Kuesioner dibagikan menggunakan Google Form dan pertanyaannya dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu sosio-demografi responden, dan persepsi responden dalam berkendara (termasuk keselamatan berkendara, pelanggaran, dan kelengkapan atribut keselamatan). Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan di Kota Banda Aceh dan dibagikan kepada penduduk di sembilan kecamatan secara merata, terutama ditujukan kepada pengendara sepeda motor.

2.2.Rancangan kuesioner

Kuesioner dirancang untuk dapat mengetahui persepsi responden terhadap keselamatan berkendara. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pengendara sepeda motor yang berdomisili di Kota Banda Aceh. Pertanyaan yang diajukan kepada responden diadopsi dari penelitian-penelitian terdahulu (Assum, 1997; Hongsranagon, et.al., 2011; Chie dan Widaningrum, 2014; Topolšek & Dragan, 2015; Zhang, et.al., 2019).
