Pengaruh Rencana Konstruksi Pelabuhan Jetty Terhadap Perairan di Kawasan Pelabuhan Pulau Banyak

Abstract

Abstrak Kawasan pesisir selalu memiliki tantangan dalam upaya mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan potensi yang dimilikinya. Erosi dan sedimentasi yang disertai gelombang besar merupakan dua masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat pesisir yang mengurangi efektifitas dari pemanfaatan Pelabuhan sebagai satu-satunya jalur transportasi. Pulau Banyak sebagai salah satu kawasan kepulauan juga menghadapi masalah yang sama, tercatat masalah erosi dan sedimentasi pesisir masih menjadi tantangan. Para penduduk sangat bergantung pada kawasan Pelabuhan sebagai jalur keluar masuk barang kebutuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memproyeksikan dampak alternatif desain yang direncanakan agar dapat mereduksi permasalahan erosi. Proyeksi ini disimulasikan menggunakan model transportasi hidrodinamik dan sedimen yang termasuk dalam Delft3D Flow and Wave. Skenario alternatif desain dilihat pengaruhnya dalam kurun waktu 3 tahun. Dampaknya dianalisis secara spasial dan hasilnya menunjukkan, sedimentasi terus terjadi pada area pangkal dari ketiga bangunan (groin dan causeway). Pola arus yang cukup besar juga terjadi pada area sekitar ujung Pelabuhan causeway. Oleh sebab itu alternatif penambahan dermaga trestle pada ujung jetty causeway merupakan alternatif yang tepat. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil simulasi yang menunjukkan tidak ada aktifitas arus maupun sedimentasi yang mengganggu pada area dermaga trestle. Kata-kata Kunci: Pelindung pantai, Delft3D, pelabuhan. Abstract Coastal areas always have challenges in trying to optimize the utilization of their potential. Erosion and sedimentation accompanied by large waves are two of the main problems faced by coastal communities that reduce the effectiveness of the use of ports as the only transportation route. Pulau Banyak as one of the archipelagos also faces the same problem, noted the problem of erosion and coastal sedimentation is still a challenge. The residents rely heavily on the Port area as a way in and out of goods needed. This research aims to project the impact of planned design alternatives to reduce the problem of erosion. These projections are simulated using hydrodynamic and sediment transport models included in Delft3D Flow and Wave. Alternative design scenarios are seen as influential within 3 years. The impact was analyzed spatially, and the results showed that sedimentation continued to occur in the base area of all three buildings (groin and causeway). A large current pattern also occurs in the area around the end of the Port causeway. Therefore, the alternative of adding trestle docks at the end of the jetty causeway is the right alternative. This is evidenced by the results of simulations that show no current activity or sedimentation that interferes with the trestle pier area. Keywords: Coastal defence, Delft3D, port.
